Fishing
Members of the Rotary Club of Oban very much enjoy sports/outside activities and prominent amongst these is fishing, particularly fly fishing. Our photographs show Rotarians, Billy MacLean (on the right) and Phil Monteith (on the left) sharing a days fishing on the River Awe. Unfortunately, no fish were caught due to adverse conditions - high water allied to strong winds - but any disappointment was offset by the many "tea breaks" to the riverside cabin with Past President Iain MacIntyre in the role of chief caterer.
