Rotary Support for Fantastic Community Facility
Oban Rotary Club of Oban are were delighted to donate £500 to the first phase of the Oban Phoenix Cinema Foyer Upgrade with funds in support of a new Concessions and ticketing counter. The funds will specifically assist in the enhancement of the visitor experience of Disabled patrons.
Changes to the Foyer area in the Cinema were identified in a community consultation at the beginning of 2019 with the year ending on a high as phase 1 reaches completion. The Cinema Trust look forward to implementing Phase 2 of the project which includes the front foyer, sound proofing ,ticketing booth and office upgrade. The work being carried will eventually improve the whole of the Entrance foyer to the cinema and to give the whole Community a more enjoyable experience.
